The cover comes with a range of helplines. A free, 24-hour legal advice helpline allows you to take advice on any matter relating to UK or European Law when it suits you most. Taking early legal advice can often guide the necessary actions that alleviate a legal problem developing. Where necessary, DAS will take legal action or appoint a solicitor to act on your behalf and pay up to £100,000 legal costs. With Commercial Legal Protection, your company no longer needs to worry about the cost of protecting your legal rights.
We would not try to mislead you by saying that we are the only company able to offer Legal Expenses Insurance (or similar)…..we are not, although the premium required and extent of cover available elsewhere varies wildly.
However, there is one significant advantage in effecting this cover with us and that is that with Saturn, for the vast majority of our policyholders, this valuable additional cover is included as standard and at no additional premium when you take out your Professional Indemnity Insurance with us. You won’t even need to complete a separate proposal form.

| The Insured contacted us after their accountants received a letter from the Inland Revenue regarding an impending Full Enquiry into their business accounts. We appointed a Tax Consultant to assist their accountants with the investigation. The case was concluded in our Insured’s favour, with the inspectorate accepting the accounts which were submitted. The only matter where liability was conceded was in respect of some minor benefits in kind. |
